As a broker, why should I choose DriveLine™ Load Exchange?
We understand that there are plenty of options when it comes to selecting the right load board(s) to find the quality carriers needed to keep your freight on the move. With so many to choose from it becomes almost impossible to understand the difference between services. For our service it really comes down to just a few things:
• Flying J Carrier Network As the largest supplier of diesel fuel in North America, Flying J has been able to build one of the largest carrier networks existing today. This network of carriers made up of fleets and owner operators have come to rely on Flying J for more than just fuel. Flying J provides several additional services such as banking, financing, equipment leasing, insurance, fuel card programs, maintenance discounts, restaurants, WiFi, document management and fuel tax reporting to name just a few. Load Exchange was built to leverage all Flying J services in order to give you multiple exposure points to the Flying J carrier network. Because Load Exchange is the exclusive load board service of Flying J, it is the only way to get your loads in front of our carrier network. • Innovation DriveLine™ Load Exchange was developed completely in-house by a team of talented developers. Our team takes pride in using leading edge technology in order to provide the most innovative system and tools available today. We understand that your time is valuable and the last thing you want to be doing is manually posting and updating your available freight or searching for equipment on several different load boards. Because of this we have developed the most complete set of automation tools that can be used in any business environment. We can work with you to implement the right tool to meet your company needs, so you can spend time doing more important things – like running a successful business. Our team did not stop at automation tools either. We understand that in order to give you the most exposure points available today, we had to find the most common form of communication technology. Because let’s face it – you can’t always expect a carrier to be waiting in front of a computer to see your freight. Our solution to this was to provide carriers with access to your freight right from their phone using our innovative DriveLine™ Instant Access system. Carriers can now call or text message into the Load Exchange service and get instant match results, and if by chance we don’t have exactly what they are looking for – our DriveLine™ Sure Alert system will immediately notify them via phone, text message, or email when new matches become available. • Dependability Flying J has been providing a successful load board service for more than 15 years in the form of Load Direct. Over time we have be able to learn and grow from offering this service. As a result DriveLine™ Load Exchange was released in 2008. Load Exchange was built on the foundation laid by Load Direct in order to continue to provide the most dependable load board service available today. Load Exchange is now ready to take Flying J’s load board service into the future with all the tools needed to keep your freight on the move and keep your business successful. • Support Because Load Exchange was developed entirely in-house by our team of developers, we can provide real-time support in order to make sure you are always getting the most out of our service. We have a staff of trained professionals on hand to answer questions regarding your Load Exchange service. • Cost Load Exchange features and tools were developed to be fully integrated with one another as well as to function independently. Because of this you are able to build the perfect Load Exchange bundle to meet your specific company needs. By doing this you will not be charged for features and tools you do not want and will probably never use. Does Flying J have plans to start a brokerage division?
We understand that there have been rumors regarding this and assure you that they are just that - rumors. Flying J has no intention nor plans to start a brokerage division. Our focus is on our customers and given the fact that several of our customers currently operate brokerages, we have no desire to jeopardize our relationships with these customers by starting a competing service.
I am currently sending loads files to 3 other load boards; will Load Exchange accept this file?
Yes. Load Exchange is currently setup to handle several different file formats. More than likely we are already setup to handle your existing file. If by chance it does not match one of our existing formats, our team of developers will go right to work it getting it setup in our system. Based on the complexity of the file it should take no longer than a day to get up and running. However, some files are much more complicated than others which could extend this time slightly and may involve a one-time setup fee to complete.
We currently have multiple agent offices throughout the United States; does Load Exchange provide a national account service?
Yes. We are setup to accommodate several different national account options. The most common and simplest form of setup is to create one DriveLine™ Load Exchange account with multiple logins. Logins can be setup to track each agent office separately. We can also setup one automated interface to handle all offices, and billing is typically done has a group rather than to each office separately. For more information about out national account service, please contact a DriveLine™ sales representative.
Does Load Exchange offering marketing opportunities for other transportation services?
Not at this time. We are currently looking into this option.
Can we display our company logo next to our postings?
Yes. Load Exchange offers a preferred listing service that allows customers to highlight their postings and display a company logo. For questions regarding our preferred listing service please contact a DriveLine™ sales representative.
Do I need to install any programs on my computer in order to use Load Exchange?
No. Load Exchange is completely online and requires no installation.
Do customers call me directly?
Yes. Your specific contact information will be displayed next to your postings.
Does the Load Exchange system get a percentage of the freight charges?
No. Freight charges are determined and settled outside of the Load Exchange service.
Does your system require me to display my credit and or safety information?
No. All Load Exchange customers have the option to display their credit and/or safety information.
How often does Load Exchange update postings?
This is determined by you. We are setup to handle and update your postings as often as needed.
Are there additional charges to posting at Flying J plazas?
No. Your loads will be available at all Flying J plazas for no additional cost.
Are there additional charges for posting comments?
No. You are able to include additional posting comments at no extra charge.
